Contrary to popular belief it's not all as bad here in the Vail Valley as some people think. Due to a combination of warm weather and some rain the last week much of the snow in the North Central region of the state has finally melted. The Gore Creek has dropped by half in the last week as has the famed Eagle River! We will be floating the Eagle very soon and have already been floating the Colorado River upstream of Catamuont with unbelievable dry fly success! The Dry fly fishing on the Eagle has been excellent as well. Longtime FFO guide Danny Houck and his clients "CLOBBERED 'EM" this week on the Eagle and Colorado. FFO is blessed to have the most expirienced guide staff around(225+ years combined expirience on LOCAL water)
WE'RE BAAAACK!
